
It all started in the year 1969, when a roadside bar decided to open their doors and start in the catering business. Over the years it became known to the local area as La Venta Barea; a Country Inn – Restaurant, full of passion and flavours in the gastronomic field, typical of the Campo de Gibraltar area.

Their concept for a family business was built up over the years, where their clients were made to feel very welcome. Proof of that is that clients still visit today bringing with them their kids and grandkids to carry on the tradition. This gave Casa Barea more enthusiasm to produce an even more local traditional cuisine.

They specialise in creating casseroles and traditional dishes from old recipes passed down from their mothers and grandmothers. They use the best quality products to obtain a natural and authentic cuisine, with the fundamental factor of the Mediterranean diet, Olive Oil.
Their meats and seasonal products provide a variety of flavours for clients to taste each time they visit.
