Situated on the southernmost tip of Andalusia in the province of Cádiz, only 14 Kms from Morocco, with the largest extension of beaches of all Andalusia. The area’s privileged location between two seas, (the Mediterranean and the Atlantic) and two continents (Europe and Africa) has lead to the settlement and influence of many cultures throughout centuries.

If to this we add more than a hundred kilometres of golden sands and sharp cliffs, the wonders of Los Alcornocales Natural Park and a mild climate, with more than 300 days of sun during the year, it becomes easy to understand why so many people choose this area to relax in.
The strong and frequent East winds have turned the area into Europe’s most coveted windsurfing zone.

Seven towns make up the area known as Campo de Gibraltar: Algeciras, La Línea & Tarifa overlook the sea, as do parts of the towns of San Roque and Los Barrios. Castellar and Jimena de la Frontera are situated inland within the Los Alcornocales Natural Park.
