Its summer time and everyone wants to get down to the beach and enjoy their day boats and make the very best of the facilities right on our doorstep. If a boat owner requires proof of competence when visiting another European country the ICC will frequently suffice, this is often the case locally, without it you could face problems with the marina staff and authorities plus this licence may be essential for your insurance. Providing you are a resident in Gibraltar or the UK you can apply for your ICC after having achieved your Powerboat Level 2 which is a two day course costing £250 for locals, or half day direct assessment route for £200 if you’re already an experienced powerboater. We recommend the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course route to the ICC rather than direct assessment since renewal after five years does not require a new assessment.

Operating on our new and thrilling Jeanneau Cap Camarat 7 meter powerboat with a cruising speed of 24 knots this course will be fun as well as useful. The boat is also available for trips round the Bay, or take a picnic lunch and anchor off one of the beaches – the sunbathing deck is a fabulous place to relax whilst the kids swim or fish.
